Born April of 1970 in Torrance California, a small community wedged comfortably between Redondo Beach and Compton in Southern California, it wasn’t long before Johns mom relocated the family to the beautifully dreary Central Oregon Coast town of Coos Bay, where John spent most of his time as a young boy riding his bike and being chased around by stray dogs.
In 1983 Johns mom relocated the family to the Southern Oregon community of Central Point, where John found his calling and identity in Punk Rock Music, Skateboarding and goofing off, in the 8th grade John accidentally joined the Wrestling team, continuing with the sport through High School inevitably lead to a sense of purpose and kept him grounded engraining in him with the value’s of self worth, discipline, determination and most of all gave him a hardcore work ethic that John still carries with him to this day.

Never really finding his Academic match or strength Foote graduated from Rogue Valley’s Crater High with a stunning 1.9 GPA. Never one to let little things stand in his way, he jumped town directly after graduation and relocated back to sunny Southern California where persistence, hard work and all out determination landed him with an entry level position in the film industry. After a 7 year stint working in the art department on numerous movies of the week and low budget features, Foote finally hit the big time landing a top industry position as leadman for the inaugural season of Fox Televisions MADTv. After the first season he felt like he had gained the needed insight and knowledge of the working Industry and was ready to get down to serious business and left L.A. headed back to Oregon to pursue and develop his own interests in film and media.

So in 1995 armed with only his street smarts, business skills and enough self-determination to power a small sub-urban town John founded Land Mind Productions taking up residence in a disused 40K square foot pear-packing facility. Over the next 13 years Foote would develop and diversify his vision, skill set and core competencies of the enterprise in order to allow the fledgling company to not only survive but thrive.

He has developed and spearheaded national design and marketing campaigns for several companies including an entire franchise redesign and build-out for Salt Lake City based, Bad Ass Coffee Company, which included over 40 installs all over the United States and Foreign markets such as Japan, Korea and Malaysia. He has directed over 10 privately funded film and video projects through Land Mind Productions and is passionate about music, film and concept-based multi-media projects.

In 2008 Land Mind had ran it’s course and Foote transitioned his private 40,000 sq. ft. studio into a public multi-media Co-Op. Foote is now a visionary for hire focused on developing, producing and managing Innovative and Dynamic Marketing / Advertising and Media content that is both Intellectually and Visually stimulating appealing to a wide range of consumer clients.

John is a dedicated father to his two amazing and beautiful daughters, Jonnay and Jaylen, all three of which are Maniacal music fans and seek to take in as many live shows as possible and additionally enjoy many other various family activities such as Drawing, Painting, feeding our Koi, walking our dogs and just goofing around enjoying life.

John is extremely active in his community of Southern Oregon after spending 7 years in Los Angeles and returning home it was extremely important for John to be able to affect kids and peoples lives in his community is a Positive way he has held various board positions, volunteer’s regularly at his daughter’s school and started youth in film making and youth wrestling programs that still thrive in the community today.

John is an Absolute music lover all the way around, Avid watcher of Movies, has only read one book – “The way of the Peaceful Warrior” and someday I will get to the rest of them.
John has an incredibly visual way of thinking, loves challenges, possesses great leadership skills, able to execute, finalize and complete projects. His extremely positive attitude, hard work ethic and anything is possible style are infectious to the people around him always creating a quality synergistic and enjoyable environment.
